American film director & producer, Andy Sidaris, has recently been revived in the 21st century. Not a well-known name in the general public, Sidaris has built up a strong cult following over the years with films such as Malibu Express, Do or Die, and Hard Ticket to Hawaii.
Sidaris started his career with ABC network in the sports department and have won an Emmy award for directing sports broadcasts. He is best known for directing ABC Wide World of sports covering football, basketball, and the Olympic games.
Later, he expanded his career by directing action B-films. He became well known for his Bullets, Bombs, and Babes (Triple B series) action series with a cast of Playboy Playmates and Penthouse Pets starlets such as Dona Speir, Julie Strain, and Hope Marie Carlton.
Most of Andy Sidaris’ Triple B action films (later known as L.E.T.H.A.L.) were exclusively shot in Hawaii and focused on storylines based on government intelligence and secret agents.
With his wife, Arlene T. Sidaris, as his production partner, Sidaris made twelve films. Since Andy Sidaris’ death, she runs the official website of his twelve films.
